The Circuit Clerk also:
- Serves as the Clerk to the Family Court
- Issues mesne (during the progress of a case) process
- Issues final process to enforce and executive judgements
- Responsible for all papers filed, serves as registrar, recorder and custodian for all pleadings, documents and funds pertaining to cases filed in Circuit Court
- Responsible for the management of the petit and grand jury systems in the county
- And other duties related to Circuit Court
are located on the 2nd floor of the Roane County Courthouse at
200 Main Street, Spencer, West Virginia.
Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm
(closed during lunch from Noon to 1pm)
and other times by appointment.
