 ROANE COUNTY COMMISSION – CAMP SHEPPARD TRACTOR

Sealed Bids for a new 50-HP Tractor and 12’ mower for Camp Sheppard will be received by the Roane County Commission at Roane County Courthouse, 200 Main Street, Spencer, WV 25276 until 10:00am May 9, 2024 and then at said place publicly opened and read aloud.

Specifications are listed below.

The Roane County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Contract will be subject to Buy American Provisions. The Roane County Commission is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer.

Price to include delivery and set up to Camp Sheppard, 78 Camp Sheppard Lane Gandeeville, WV 25243.

Sealed bids will be accepted until May 9 at 10am and will publicly be opened at the regular Roane County Commission Meeting.

The Roane County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities there in.


SPECIFICATIONS FOR ROANE COUNTY COURTHOUSE INTERIOR PAINTING

Project Location:  Roane County Courthouse, Roane County Courthouse 200 Main Street, Spencer, WV 25276

The Roane County Commission is seeking bids for the interior painting of all paintable walls in the Roane County Courthouse per the attached drawings and description below. Sealed bids will be accepted until May 23, 2024 at 10:00am when they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Please send bids to Courthouse Painting Bid c/o Roane County Commission 200 Main Street, Spencer, WV 25276.

Project consists of painting all designated wall surfaces in the Roane County Courthouse with at least two coats of Sherwin Williams Interior Duration (or similar) satin paint to be completed over a three-month period. Paint color(s) to be chosen by each elected official with Roane County Commission approval. Areas listed below will be limited to one (1) color choice per numbered area (maximum of 10 color choices). Bid should be broken down and listed by the numbered/named areas below with pricing for each area listed separately.

  1. Main Lobby and Main Stairwell to second floor including restrooms
  2. Second Floor Hallway, Restrooms and three stairwells (one on each end and a private stairwell to Sheriff’s office below)
  3. County Clerk’s Office, Administrative Assistant’s Office, Record Room, and Commission Courtroom
  4. Circuit Courtroom
  5. Circuit Clerk’s Offices, Restrooms & Jury Room
  6. Prosecutor’s Offices and Meeting Room/Law Library
  7. Assessor’s Offices (all rooms)
  8. Sheriff’s Offices and Jail (all rooms)

Bidder must cooperate with court and office schedules to ensure public and staff is not inconvenienced or subject to toxic conditions.

Bidder must remove all wall hangings, portable equipment (i.e. copiers), switch and receptacle covers and properly tape areas that cannot be moved (i.e. permanent shelving).

Paint must be as specified or similar, durable, safe and paint job must be warranted against defects in workmanship for a minimum of 1 year. Bid must include all expenses including paint, supplies, and cleanup of any spills or drips. Waste generated must be removed from the premises and disposed of lawfully at Bidders expense. Payment will be rendered via check or credit card after each area is painted and inspected, unless other arrangements are made in advance.

The Roane County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Contract will be subject to Made in USA and Buy American Provisions and all other Federal and State Laws and building codes that apply. Winning bidder must provide a Certificate of Insurance for at least $1,000,000 liability limit with Roane County Commission named as an additional insured. The Roane County Commission is tax exempt and an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer.


BID SPECIFICATIONS REPAIRS TO NEWTON EMS STATION NEWTON, WV

Sealed bids for the repair work will be received by the Roane County Commission 200 Main Street  Spencer, WV 25276 until 10:00 am May 23, 2024 when the Commission will open and review all bids received.

The work is located at the Newton EMS Station at 12017 Clay Road Newton, WV 25266. 

The Project consists of repairing all damages listed in the Insurance Appraisal and includes materials, labor and disposal. Basic sheetrock, insulation, cabinetry, electrical and plumbing systems are part of the repairs. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis.

Access to the site for inspection will be by appointment only. The Insurance Appraisal document is available HERE.

Bid to include procurement of building permits and proper disposal of any debris.

Bidders must be properly licensed, insured (including workers compensation) and show proof of same with Bid. 

The Roane County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Contract will be subject to Buy American Provisions and the International Building Code.
